Tabung Minci 2020

2020. The year of the pandemic where being kind is the strongest currency

Needless to say, much of the financial aid is channelled towards efforts to buffer socio-economic difficulties faced by all layers of the society during the Covid-19 pandemic. The usual TM contributions were ongoing on top of other matters that needed monetary attention.

I’m not quite sure how much I started with, in my Tabung Minci funds at the beginning of 2020. The total I spent for this year from the funds including the regular contributions (Al Yateem, Mercy Malaysia) amount up to roughly RM10K this year. Thankfully, I have also been getting extra allowances due to the occupational hazard of having to take swabs from patients, so I get to give more this year because of that. Alhamdulilah.
